Brighton & Hove Albion’s young midfielder Malick Junior Yalcouyé has joined Championship side Swansea City on loan for the 2025–26 season. The 19-year-old Ivorian talent impressed last season with Austrian club Sturm Graz, where he helped secure the league title and was named one of the top young players of the season.
Yalcouyé began his career at ASEC Mimosas before making his move to Europe in 2024 with IFK Göteborg in Sweden. After a standout spell there, Premier League club Brighton signed him on a five-year deal.
Known for his energy, technical ability, and vision on the pitch, Yalcouyé is expected to gain more regular playing time at Swansea and continue his development. He also represents the Ivory Coast at U23 level.
Swansea’s coaching staff believe he will bring valuable quality to the squad this season.
